Terms & Condition

Thanks for considering a memorable port experience with Shoretours.com.au – we are sure you will have a fantastic time in port. We would like you to know that when you view our website and purchase a tour with Shoretours.com.au(Shoretours), you(the Customer), are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions. If you are purchasing a tour on behalf of another person they are also bound to the Shoretours Terms and Conditions.

 

1)      Shoretours.com.au As A Booking Agent
Shoretours is not itself a transport, cruise, coach, accommodation or tour provider. Shoretours acts only as a booking agent for those service providers.
 
2)      Amendment & Cancellation Policy
a)    Group Tours - For group tours Shoretours’s cancellation/amendment policy is 48 hours notice prior to your ships scheduled arrival time into port. This is based upon Australian Eastern Standard Time. If you wish to change tours or cancel a tour please e-mail us at info@shoretours.com.au to request a tour change or refund of your ticket. As long as this notice is received within 48 hours there will be no penalty and the cost or difference will be refunded. If the tour you wish to change to is more expensive then you will be required to pay the difference.     
b)   Private Tours - If you have booked a private tour Shoretours has a 7 day cancellation policy. Should you notify us prior to 7 days of the ship’s arrival in port (Australian Eastern Standard Time) you will receive a 100% refund of the tour. If you notify us less than 7 days but more than 48 hours will receive a 50% refund on the tour price. For any cancellations that are less than 48 hours there will be no refund. 
c)    Refund in case of itinerary changes - In the case of the ship missing a port you will automatically receive a 100% refund of your tour ticket. Should the ship be delayed, we will do our best to reschedule your tour to your new arrival time or provide you with an alternative tour. If we are unable to do so then you will receive a full 100% refund.
d)   Weather Related Refunds - Tours booked with Shoretours.com.au will commence in all types of weather. Remember your tour guides are locals and will have some alternatives sites or activities up their sleeves. Some of the most beautiful pictures are taken on stormy days! If, in the unlikely situation the weather conditions are so strong that your tour cannot go ahead because of safety reasons you will receive a 100% refund on your tour.
 
3)      Tour Inclusions
Tour operators listed on the Shoretours.com.au website maintain the right to adjust any itineraries if required to do so due to circumstances beyond their control. If requests are received by the customer for an itinerary changes or additional inclusions on the day of the tour, the operator will always attempt to assist but does not guarantee that this will be possible.  Any additional costs, incurred on the day, other than what is listed in the tour confirmation, not limited to but including food and beverages, entrance fees or a time extension of the tour, are at the customers own expense. 
 
Some tours will not commence and end directly at the port and this information will be clearly stated in the tour description. All and any costs incurred by the customer to reach the meeting point of the tour are at the customer’s personal expense.
 
 
4)      Accuracy of Information & Limited Liability
Shoretours has taken all due care and responsibility to verify and check all information provided on our website at the time of compilation. However, as the information is supplied by our service and tour providers Shoretours accepts no responsibility for any inaccuracy. 
 
Shoretours.com.au will not be liable or responsible for any loss, damage, or injury caused by any tour operators, hotel or service provider, contractor, its employees or agents.   Any claims for damages, costs and or expenses will need to be made with the service, accommodation or tour provider.
 
Although Shoretours listed operators do have the required insurance Shoretours strongly recommends that all passengers have their own personal travel insurance for their cruise. Other unforseen events do arise such as undelivered luggage, injury, illness and late flights. Travel insurance will encompass all of these possible incidences and ensure that you may still enjoy your holiday or be protected financially should you need to cancel your cruise or leave prematurely.  
 
5)      Payment
All payments are listed in Australian Dollars $AUD and may be credit card through PayPal (incurring a $2.00 credit card fee) or via electronic transfer. To make payment via electronic payment please contact us on info@shoretours.com.au to receive instructions on how to proceed.  
 
6)      Intellectual Property
The material contained on this website is protected by copyright and may not be reproduced without the direct written permission of Shoretours. Trademarks (whether registered or not) registered may not be used or modified without the expressed written consent of Shoretours
 
7)      General
The domain Shoretours.com.au is registered and operated by Shoretours.com.au (ABN 47 791 292 886). Use of the Shoretours.com.au website is subject to the above Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
